Hi, Taehyung-ah 😊🤗 How are you today? I hope that you’re doing great. Today is the last day of this year. I wonder if you have already thought of the things that you were grateful for this year as well as the things that made you sad.

This year has surely been fruitful for you. You’ve owned almost every month with amazing projects. There’s Elle Korea in February, Sim Invest and Celine global brand ambassador announcements in March, Jinny’s Kitchen in April, Paris events for Celine in May, Cartier global brand ambassador announcements in June, Love Me Again and Rainy Days singles debut in August, your first official solo album, Layover, in September, alongside amazing magazine covers in British Pop and Arena Homme+ for Celine, W Korea for Cartier, Dicon, and Seoul Honorary Tourism ambassador all in one month, then there were your solo promotions from You Quiz, Run, and others to Korean music shows like Mnet, Music Bank, etc., your fan meeting in October, your excellent platoon leader second-in-command position in your military service in December, as well as being recently announced as the brand ambassador of Compose Coffee.

Of course, there were so many events that made you super busy while you’re in the process of working these awesome projects, including the conceptualization, recording, and filming of your album which surely spanned months (maybe starting from last year and commencing in June-July), your cancelled event with Celine in Paris due to the activism going on there at the time in June-July as well, your Jinny’s Kitchen spin-off episodes as well as Run BTS episodes in November and December.

I’m super proud and happy that it’s a very fulfilling year for you, Taehyung-ah. Great things really do come to those who are working hard and who are determined. I truly wish I can work hard as you and be undisturbed no matter how I dislike my environment, the people around me, or the situations I’m facing. Because you’re like that, I know you can succeed anywhere you go.

You’ve also been on the cover of 5 magazines: Vogue Korea, Elle Korea, W Korea, Arena Homme+ Korea, British Pop, and also being featured or covered by Esquire Korea and Dicon 🥳🎉👏🙌

You’ve also been the best-selling artist, with your #1 best-selling solo album in history, Layover, the highest in almost three decades at the time of your album release and the first to get double million sales in two platforms, Hanteo and Circle-Gaon, as well as setting records in other platforms. 🥳🎉👏🙌 As usual, your albums and magazine covers got sold out several times in any platforms they were sold, such as in ktown4u, Yes, G-Market, Amazon, Weverse, etc. 🥳🎉👏🙌

You have also made such significant increase in earnings, a whoping 51% for Celine after you’ve been actively promoting the brand and announced as the newest global ambassador. 🥳🎉👏🙌

You’ve also got so many expensive items for Celine and Cartier sold out, some in a matter of minutes and sold out worldwide, and even got the websites crashed due to a high traffic of visitors.

You also did that same amazing revenue increase for Hybe, getting the highest earning for the company in the third quarter (based on data, I assumed it’s about 70% for album sales and ads revenue), after your album, Layover, was released, and it was comparably bigger than other well-promoted groups and solos in the company. 🥳🎉👏🙌

Your reality show, Jinny’s Kitchen, has also been making waves in and out of South Korea, as it has committed to promoting Korean foods to the rest of the world, and surely it was received with so much love. 🥳🎉👏🙌

You’ve trended for very positive reasons on all social media platforms, retaining your place as the most-searched Korean idol or celebrity in Google worldwide, as well as in Japan, South Korea, and even the United States without having set foot on its soil this year.

You’ve also occupied the top spots in South Korea’s very own Naver and China’s Baidu several times. 🥳🎉👏🙌 All the amazing results surely outweighed all your worries, fears, and stress, right? You’ve made it, Taehyung-ah 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌

I’m sure that even though you’re serving in the military for the next two years, you’re still going to be very active in the media with so many activities you’ve filmed and left for us, right? We’re all looking forward to them.
