Hi, Taehyung-ah 😊🤗 How are you today? I hope that you’ve been doing well and that you are keeping a positive and healthy mindset. Is it getting cold in South Korea? I hope the winter won’t be too cold this year because I think you’ll surely have so many events, like awarding shows, to attend in your own name. Even if you won’t come to all of them, I hope there will be at least one where you can celebrate your very splendid solo debut as a Korean solo artist to the fullest.
Congratulations on being nominated for several awards such as Artist of the Year, Song of the Year with your Love Me Again, Album of the Year with your Layover, Best Vocal Performance Solo with your Love Me Again, and Best Male Artist for MAMA 2023 🥳🎉👏🙌 I’m very proud of your album and songs, Taehyung-ah. You’ve conceptualized an album, alongside all the performances for each of your songs, so beautifully and masterfully that you can be proud of them for all time. Your album is well-made – the lyrics have so much to convey; the melodies are sentimental, pleasant, and really good for the ears, especially for experienced music lovers or critics; your deep romantic voice, as always, is soothing; the MVs are so high-quality and so highly-creative; and of course; your stage performances and the very captivating backdrop that retell the story of the songs on their own – if I look at your album from these perspectives, I know you got a very thoughtful and artistic debut album that’s meant to be massive – and it does become massive. You’re amazing, Taehyung-ah.
You know what, I always love your “Travel With Me”, “1234evermore”, “Maybe”, and other unofficially released full songs you shared with us on Instagram, Twitter/X, and Weverse. I feel like they’ll be super great singles on your Layover, too, and they’re extremely romantic. It’s no wonder why there are sooo many people, not just your fans but also a lot musicians and critics from different parts of the world, who have expressed their admiration for your debut album and excitement to listen to your next album soon.
Once again, congratulations, Taehyung-ah, on making history as the first and only K-soloist to debut all tracks of a full album on the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global 200 Excl. US 🥳🎉👏🙌 Congratulations, too, on setting another record on the chart as the first K-pop & Korean soloist to chart three songs simultaneously for 5 straight weeks, and counting 🥳🎉👏🙌 You have also now set the record for charting multiple songs on both the Billboard Global 200 and Global 200 Excl. US charts for 9 successive weeks, and counting. Congratulations, Taehyung-ah 🥳🎉👏🙌 Your Slow Dancing is a cool vibing R&B song and it’s no wonder why it’s the main single and banner song for your debut R&B album. I really wish you could release the live band version of the song as it’s so lively too. It’s sweet and splendid for me that another two songs in your album, Love Me Again and Rainy Days, have continuously performed so well in global charts. I heard that it continuously charted in the Billboard charts of several countries, though it’s concerning how your Slow Dancing often seems to be excluded or filtered out. I wonder what your own favorite song in your album, Taehyung-ah.
Congratulations, too, on being the highest charting K-pop & Korean solo artist in Billboard Artist 100 🥳🎉👏🙌 It’s also really amazing how you have the highest number of solo songs, excluding collabs, that debuted in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 with your Christmas Tree, Love Me Again, and Slow Dancing. You can really stand on your own, Taehyung-ah.
It’s awesome too that you’re once again the #1 trending search on Ktown4u as more and more fans order, or re-order, your Layover album. The timing is really good and I’m sure you’ll have another spike in trends, and sales, on your birthday a couple of months from now. I wonder if you’re smiling. Congratulations, too, on getting #1 once again on iTunes with your Slow Dancing, making you top 97 countries so far. 🥳🎉👏🙌 I think your Rainy Days is also close to 100 #1s, right? That’s cool 🤗
Have you watched Jinny’s Kitchen spin-off episode today, Taehyung-ah? It’s nostalgic, and I’m reminded of how I spent the beginning of this year with eating more Korean foods every time a new episode was out. I’ve only watched the clips and it’s wonderful how you look happy.
Thank you so much for being with us this whole year, Taehyung-ah – from your Jinny’s Kitchen at the beginning of this year, Winter to Spring, your Layover album and so many beautiful and memorable shows and projects alongside your promotions throughout Summer, a spin-off of Jinny’s Kitchen in Autumn, to a lot more activities you’ll share with us this Winter, toward the end of this year, and so many more years ahead 🤗🤗🤗 You’ve been working so hard and so admirably, Taehyung-ah. Because you have a lot on your plate, you must have felt a lot of ups and downs and a lot of moments of happiness, sadness, confusions, and waiting, too. Still, you’ve got more beautiful, memorable, and happier moments to cherish for a very long time, right? I hope you’ll always be happy and healthy, Taehyung-ah. You deserve all the love in the world, and may you never forget that you are loved sooo much. From now on, please listen to your heart. Once again, congratulations 🥳🎉👏🙌
