Congratulations on being in the Top 5 of biggest streaming peaks of Korean/K-pop acts in a single month (next to NewJeans, Blackpink, Jungkookie, and BTS). It’s amazing how you did it too with fewer songs and all on your own. It’s not glorious to think your label kept sabotaging you and not promoting you properly, but since it’s the truth that everybody has seen, we all can say you can stand perfectly on your own, Taehyung-ah, and that you don’t need to bother yourself with giving in and being trapped by your label’s unfair and unjust demands. I’m just sad to think you worked so hard but even then they refused to support you properly and refused to recognize you despite of your major contributions. What remains the truth in the music and entertainment industry, whether it’s in the East or the West, is that labels are just businesses more concerned of their own gains and do not have the heart and principle to honor their talents or artists, and it’s definitely devastating since we know and have seen how you and BTS are very hardworking, talented, and stayed true to your duties, even as ambassadors.
I think we should now slowly change the narrative into a positive note. Despite all these unfair things, there is still a God who’s watching and protecting all the fruits of your labor and there is still sooo many of your fans and armys who aree watching and supporting you and protecting you in whatever way we can. All things will lead to something, so no effort and hard work we exercise in practicing our talents go in vain. As long as we do not forget our direction, we will be able to find out how to turn things into something helpful for us in the future.
Taehyung-ah, congratulations on doing so well on your solo era. You’ve not been afraid to reach your full potential and you’ve achieved so many wonderful things on your own for the past years. You have seen the tidal wave like impact you have on sooo many people from around the world and you seemed exercising Midas Touch by turning all things your hands have touched into best-selling items, many of them are even sold out in a matter of minutes, even seconds, and those ultra-expensive luxury items sold out worldwide in just a few hours. You’ve set and broken records, some World Records like your Guinness, and some records set almost three decades ago like your album.
You have also fantastically contributed so much earnings for the brands you’re promoting, like that 51% for Celine in 2022-2023 and that 71% or highest contribution for Hybe in the third quarter of 2023. Wherever you go or whatever you explore, be it in magazine covers, K-OST, album, brand ambassador, and variety shows, you’ve always been on top – sales, trends, impact. You are so welcoming and so sincere with your dealings with others. Someone like you is always fated to find love and support wherever you are. I think these qualities are sought-after in every country, be it in the East or the West. That’s why, I know, Taehyung-ah, that you’ll do well wherever you go. Others may try to hurt you perhaps because they want someone so huge and influential like you to submit to them, but you can beat them by understanding what they are, Taehyung-ah. It’s not that I encourage you to look down on others, it’s just that I want to tell you to never deny yourself and all your achievements. You are someone who make it big in the world for a reason, and that’s something that abusers won’t be able to make no matter how much control they put over you. They could be like those unfair and exploitative people in your label or in the military, but remember, they can’t get to you, take all that you have, or remove what has made you big. Your talents, dedication, hardwork, beliefs or dreams, and sincere relations with others are yours alone and these can always give you more in the future, and in even in the present, as long as you do not forget you have them. No one can take these away from you, Taehyung-ah.
