Learn how to stream for V properly on YouTube, Spotify, and other platforms.

Make your own playlist to stream from (or add songs to queue). In case of public playlists from big fanbases getting reported (and where the streams generated from them may be deleted), we can protect our artist and our stream counts by manually searching the songs, adding them to queue, or making our own playlists.

The best way in making sure the view counts is to search the song manually and watch the video. If you don’t have the luxury of time, you may add the songs and playlists to your queue. You may also join Stationhead and Ren parties co-hosted by many of our Taehyung fanbases.

Remember to put 2-3 songs, preferably Taehyung’s previously released songs, before you play Love Me Again & Rainy Days again. You may choose from the playlists in my channel to add to your queue.

Each playlist has 2-4 songs that you can use as fillers for any Taehyung song you want to focus on streaming.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only purchases from the US stores (Weverse Shop USA, BTS Store for US armys, Amazon Music US, and iTunes/Apple Music US) will be counted to Billboard charts.

If you’re playing from the web browser, you may use YouTube music (make sure to play the video) to easily add the playlists to your queue or save to your playlists. After creating the playlist, you may now play it on YouTube. NOTE: Don’t open multiple tabs to stream the song.

Other Important Reminders

Some experts say YouTube will stop counting views from the same IP address after you’ve watched the same video 5 times in a day (though this is not officially verified by YouTube); hence, it is recommended to move to other platforms after queueing Taehyung’s songs 5 times in a day on YouTube. Filtered plays may hurt and penalize our artist instead.

Spotify is said to count only 20 streams of the same song in a day (also not officially verified by Spotify). Apple Music and Pandora have low filtering system so they’re more recommended in securing stream counts.

It is also recommended to include 2-4 related artists to Taehyung so your playlist and account won’t be filtered out, especially from Spotify and YouTube. Adding similar artists to playlists would help Taehyung to be recommended in Spotify’s curated playlists or YouTube recommendations under those similar artists. NOTE: Please don’t include artists or songs that are currently in direct competition to Taehyung, particularly for charting purposes.

After playing from one playlist that has 5 replays (on YT) of the focused song/s, switch streaming to other platforms. One queue may contain 30 songs, including 5 Love Me Again MV; 5 Love Me Again audio; 5 Rainy Days MV; 5 Rainy Days audio; and 10 filler songs (other Taehyung, BTS, or related artist song). This could run for about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Then, you can switch to other playlists from YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and any platform available to you.
