I love how articles have called your influence as the “BTS V Effect”. Truly, you have significantly increased engagements to any projects you’re involved, Taehyung-ah. It’s wonderful that the show you are with is trending on top of local and international platforms, like Naver and YouTube. I’ve also come across a post where you’ve incredibly increased the number of views, from 200K views to 13.47M views, on one of “Seojin’s” reels after you posted it on your Instagram story.

It’s like I’m having sweet flashbacks to different points of time when you’ve demonstrated your “Midas Effect”. I could never forget when magazines called you as the human crowd-magnet the first time you have attended Paris Fashion Week. You also got sooo many merchs, accessories, and even your own Mute Boston Bag sold out, with some of them in just a matter of seconds and minutes.

To mention something recent, how you’ve managed to rank the game, Goose Goose Duck, in the top 3 of all-time popular games. It just falls behind Mobile Legends and Counter Strike. It got 600K users from 60K users (1000X more) in just a matter of days. It’s amazing how it’s still gaining attention for its impressive growth 🥳🎉👏🙌. That’s such a great momentum!

In South Korea, I remember how your country’s very own president applauded you for getting a lip balm sold out in seconds 🥳🎉👏🙌.

Your own Instagram account is a testimony of how much in demand you are around the world. Congratulations, once again, for the two Guinness World Records you have earned for having the fastest account to gain 10M and 20M just hours after you have opened it. Even until now, you still keep making a positive momentum as you’ve gained 56M followers on the platform 🥳🎉👏🙌

Congratulations, too, for having been the male celebrity with the highest engagement in the US and worldwide. You also have the most brand value and still ranking 16th in the Top 20 Most Liked Posts on Instagram. In Asia, you’re still the most followed male Korean celebrity, K-pop idol, and Korean actor on the platform 🥳🎉👏🙌.

It’s no wonder how the show, “Seojin’s”, who aims to help Korean culture, particularly Korean food, gain global advancement as it does with K-drama, K-pop, and K-beauty products. I would also like to applaud how the show is strategic in reaching out the global audience that love both K-content and you, Taehyung-ah.

The countries served by Amazon Prime Video have many of your fans, such as in the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and others. I think that you can experience the intensity of your wide influence you can also reach out to the countries where you’ve got such solid and massive fan following, such as Japan, China, and India. Imagine how much momentum you’ll be gaining.

Other European countries, like France, Hungary, and others have also shown great reception to your solo songs before too as indicated in your Wikipedia page. I’m especially interested in France right now because you’ve been such a crowd-magnet back then. I’m excited about to hear more of the positive momentum you’re making for a country that molds world history.

I’m also looking forward to Mexico, Brazil, Dominian Republic, and other South American countries. For one thing, they have been directly involved in the filming of “Seojin’s” (particularly Mexico). For another, they have been shown to be increasingly interested in you s they have consistently been streaming your content, such as on YouTube and Spotify, in large numbers for the past months.

It’s brilliant how you now have at least one show on 3 major global OTT platforms. There was your k-drama, “Hwarang” on Netflix and your travel/vacation show, “In the Soop: Friendcation” on Disney+. And now, your reality show, “Seojin’s” on Amazon Prime. I still remember how your “Hwarang” has been the most viewed k-drama in Netflix EU. Your “In the Soop: Friendcation” has also been topping the charts of Disney+ in several Asian countries, especially those I’ve just named earlier. Keep this positive momentum, Taehyung-ah.

I heard that it’s because of your impact that “Seojin’s” becomes the first Korean entertainment program that Amazon Prime Video will be streaming globally”. You’re making history again, Taehyung-ah.

I wonder how you feel about all of this, but I’m struck the most by how dedicated your fans can be. I’ve read about how all advertising slots were sold out. They were even at a pricey value at 235,000 USD for a single AD. The post said you’ve left the advertising industry “scrambling for broadcast slots when they find out [you] will appear in Variety Show Seojin’s”.

Your Chinese fan clubs have been marvelous in running a personal TV ad just for you before the premiere of your “Seojin’s”. The great thing about K-pop, and all the related entertainment content, is that it goes above and beyond cultural and political differences and reminding us that happiness, at its very core, is simple and universal.

I’m still really sad when I heard about Korean citizens reacting negatively due to political matters to the previous season of the show. I remember you having a cameo role through a video call with Wooga and Yumi. I’ve read about the story back then but I still don’t know about the entirety of the situation. I hope that your “Seojin’s” won’t be made into a political issue in the long run. I don’t like your antis, even if they’re fellow armys, making discriminatory issues about this.

That paints the fandom, the artists where the fandom belongs, and the K-pop industry in malicious and destructive light. There is a certain momentum that we need to keep. However, this defeating and maleficent behavior is just not something we want to associate ourselves with.

Nevertheless, congratulations, Taehyung-ah, for getting sooo much love that transcends above and beyond all the negativity that others throw unto you. I hope you’ll remember more about how you’re loved and count all the people who do you great than those who do you wrong. Get what you deserve – and remember, it is always love.

You’ve made history in Korean OST when your “Christmas Tree” became the first, and only, Korean OST to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and your “Sweet Night” became the holder of the most # 1s on iTunes in 119 countries 🥳🎉👏🙌. You did these all on your own and that’s truly incredible and praiseworthy.

Woah, you seem to always make history in whatever platform and field you enter. Keep making a positive momentum, Taehyung-ah.

Congratulations to your “Sweet Night”, too, for reaching 285M streams on Spotify. It is now extending its record as the most streamed Korean OST on the platform’s history. Your “Sweet Night” and “Christmas Tree” have been the most streamed OSTs on Spotify Wrapped in their respective years of release. With them, you’ve become the artist with most streamed OSTs on Spotify for 3 consecutive years.

Congratulations, too, for surpassing 12 Million followers on Spotify 🥳🎉👏🙌. Congratulations, too, for being the third most followed Korean soloist with just 3 OSTs . I’m imagining how explosive it would be when you finally release your solo album.

Congratulations to the song you’ve participated in composing and producing, “Hold Me Tight”, for now surpassing 115M streams on Spotify. When you’ve first participated in this song in 2015, I could already see how deep your emotions are and how you are able to give meaning to your creations. You’ve made many wonderful songs since then. When we track your artistry, we are always in awe of the positive momentum you’re making all these years, Taehyung-ah.

I’m really looking forward to your album, Taehyung-ah. You don’t have to hurry and rush yourself into releasing it. When you know it’s finally time, I hope you’ll find courage to release it no matter what the odds are.
