Hi, Taehyung-ah 😊😃 How are you today? I hope that you’ve been sleeping well these days. Are you taking good care of yourself? Someday, I hope you can freely celebrate your own creations, your meaningful artistry, Taehyung-ah. I hope you can sing your songs whenever you want and not just on acapella anymore.

That clip of you singing “Scenery” live is one of the most beautiful things ever as you’re smiling while singing your song. I wonder if you can remember. I think you’re someone very brave in trying something first, and because it worked, others follow. It’s great that you’re working something on your own and that you can have some things to look forward to. Your artistry is meaningful. It really is.

I think I first learned about you working on a song, and possibly a mixtape, in 2018. Before that you’ve also helped in composing or producing BTS songs such as “Run”, “Hold Me Tight”, and your own “Stigma”. Finally, in 2017, you’ve released another one of your beautiful creation, “4 o’clock”, with Namjoon-ah. I wonder if you have continued studying and learning English. I saw you being sooo good and cool with speaking in English before, particularly in your Bon Voyage dvd to Hawaii.

You also made a very praiseworthy cover of Adele’s song, “Someone Like You”. You’ve covered the song like a native English speaker. I super love your voice. I love your version more than Adele’s. For me, your voice in the cover has more emotions and more stories to sing about, which matters to me because the song is a ballad. From then, I started to wish you’d sing more songs in English and make us feel more of your meaningful artistry as we sing along to your songs.

I wonder if you can remember your “Singularity” performance back in Wembley before. I watched a video of it on YouTube and it’s truly fantastic how the audience, the armys, were screaming after your every move. Your stage performance and vocals for “Singularity” even got so many praises from many esteemed music critics in different parts of the world.

One of them is a known British critic and I super agree with his remarks, which was included in your Wikipedia page. I’m still trying to figure out the science behind how you’re able to draw others to you. You’re so adept at reading the crowd, but actually, what makes sooo many people come to you is largely because of who you are as a person, Taehyung-ah. We can see your sincerity and good intentions; we can see you when you’re hurting and when you’re having fun, and when you’re with us, it becomes easier and comfortable to think that you really are there for nothing else but a good companionship and relationship together. It’s how you treasure your relationships that lead to your meaningful artistry and creations.

“Scenery”, which you’ve released in 2019, was super splendid. My favorites among your songs tend to change depending on what experiences and “Scenery” has been my favorite for a long time. I really loved your “Sweet Night” too. It’s melodious and your voice just fits so perfectly with acoustic and instrumentals. I like these kinds of music.

Your “Sweet Night” will always be your very own masterpiece. I love how confident and assured you are as you sing this song. I’ve also loved your “Inner Child” and “Blue & Grey”. These are two of your songs that made me a big fan of your songwriting and producing because they’re symbolic, meaningful, and life-changing or celebrating. They make up your meaningful artistry, Taehyung-ah.

Whenever I listen to these songs, there’s always a part of me that’s being torn apart or bleeding. I can’t listen to these songs casually like I do with others. They tap on my dreams and anxieties and I love how they speak of moving forward, of hope and positivity. I can feel them both in lyrics, melody, and most importantly, in your emotional vocals, Taehyung-ah. Congratulations and thank you so much for giving us these gifts.

Your “Snow Flower” is a very beautiful song and I think it’s brilliant in terms of production and musical quality. It’s something I want to sing along if only I can utter the lyrics. It’s jazzy, R&B, and pop-like, which I also love.

Your “Christmas Tree” is so perfect. Your vocal performance for it is so suited and we all can feel the happiness, meaning, and sincerity with the way you sing the words and giving life to the song. It’s so touching how international army brides have also been choosing this song as a wedding song for walking down the aisle. Songs that have a special purpose like this live long. I think it will always be my theme song.

I wonder which of your songs you can pick as your personal favorite, Taehyung-ah. And if you’re halfway through in working on your album (which we’re suuuuper excited to have, even Genius Korea acknowledged how your album is highly anticipated), I wonder which of the songs you’ve included (and skipped, perhaps as reserve for future albums) you can take as your personal favorite. I’m excited to know.

Your artistry, Taehyung-ah, is worth celebrating for. I hope you’ll continue to love it and keep creating for more.
