It debuted #1 in Melon, Melon Male solo artist, Bugs, Flo, Ichart, and Hanteo, iTunes Worldwide, Amazon bestsellers, and YouTube worldwide trends. It made history on iTunes as the first song to reach 100 #1s (currently have 119 #1s and constantly re-enters iTunes in several countries like France recently). Also, it constantly reaches milestones on Spotify as the first Korean OST to hit 100M streams (and currently the most streamed K-OST). It also peaked #8 on Global Spotify Viral 50 chart.
It also became the highest Korean soloist debut on the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart as it debuted #2 on the chart. “Sweet Night” had the best debut for a Korean soloist even without promotions. You’re amazing, Taehyung-ah 🥳🎉👏🙌.
Your “Christmas Tree” is the same too. It debuted #1 on Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart, the highest Korean soloist debut. Congratulations to your “Christmas Tree”, too, for surpassing 250M streams on Spotify 🥳🎉👏🙌. This song had for being the first & only Idol to have 3 solos (Sweet Night, Singularity, Christmas Tree) to garner over 250M streams on Spotify 🥳🎉👏🙌.
What makes all of this interesting is that these songs are OSTs and yet they got so much love and impact among your fans worldwide. You know you’re holding so much power.
Just this year, you’ve become the first Korean soloist to gain over 1 Million Spotify followers even without having released any song for over a year already. On YouTube, you consistently have strong streams and following in many countries with Seoul as the #1 city and Mexico as the #1 country that watched you the most last week 🥳🎉👏🙌. A lot of awesome factors have been playing a role and I’d like to thank all of them including your Seojin’s or Jinny’s Kitchen for this great interest from these places.

I hope Tannie will be healthy. You’re a warm-hearted person, Taehyung-ah, for adopting baby Tannie when you know he wasn’t in the best of health before. Because of your love, he grew up so beautifully and he’s now the most popular dog in Asia and the world. Your hands always have a touch of magic.
Tannie will be 6 years old this year, right? My own dog, Batman, will be 9 years old this year. Have I told you about our dog, Ashley, who is a Pomeranian and Labrador mixed breed? Woah, I’m surprised when I heard about it too. She looks more like German Shepherd (or an adult Tannie) when she’s young and now she looks more like a Golden Retriever, but I think these could be because Pomeranians are hairy and Labradors were large.
I wonder how it would be like if BTS would bring your dogs and do tricks like you did in a Run BTS episode before. It was before you adopted Tannie, right? It would be so endearing. I’m sorry that I haven’t finished watching the recent Run BTS episodes. I’ll make time for them. To be honest, I was kinda upset from the episode that I watched before, but because I’m seeing you enjoying the recent ones on the video clips, I’m excited to see those moments.
I hope you’ll always be happy and healthy, Taehyung-ah. I always love your smile, your boxy smile, your smirk, and that smile from the AMAs in 2021. These are very popular among your fans and armys too. I hope that you’ll have a lot of things that make you happy, Taehyung-ah.
