Our Taehyung has grown up well, becoming more and more promising every passing year. This time, it’s good to bring an ode to our Taehyung’s inner child and his dreams, which brought our V to who he is today.
Happy 5th anniversary to his song, “Inner Child” 🥳🎉👏🙌 This song is very meaningful to me because it reminds me of my own youth—childhood and teenage. Our younger self made us who we are today, and all the struggles where we do our best have given us the skills, resilience, and hope, which we continue to live by whenever we face similar challenges. So many of Taehyung’s fans and ARMYs have watched him grow up, and I’m sure they are very proud of him because he grew up well. Thank you for working hard and giving us wonderful results all this time 🥳🎉👏🙌 He’s proud of his younger self, too, right? I miss the truthfulness, sincerity, and the beautiful smile of the young Taehyung. I wonder what made him smile happily back then.
I also wonder what has been making him smile in the recent years and now that he’s serving in the military. He’s completed 80% of it, right? Congratulations 🥳🎉👏🙌 A little bit more and he’ll be back 😊🤗 I’m so proud of him, and I know that so many of his fans and ARMYs are also so proud of him. He’s done well, our Taehyung.
I’m happy that he dedicated a song to his younger self and that, like me, he also loves the person that he’s been before. It’s a very beautiful song, and before his “Christmas Tree,” it’s “Inner Child” that was my favorite. It’s because of this song, as well as BTS’ song, “Blue & Grey,” that made me look closer into his artistry and appreciate it because they’re so gripping, nostalgic, and meaningful. I’ve often been in a situation where others do not understand me and they scheme against me, so songs like “Inner Child” and “Blue & Grey” mean so much to me. Even now, I know others are laughing and calling me poor and pitiful, but even so, I know God is watching and He’s actually pleased, so I’d rather be like this for God, seeing things that are meaningful, holding on to them, and celebrating them.
He hasn’t performed “Inner Child” on stage yet, so I hope he can perform it live someday. He also hasn’t played the saxophone or trumpet live (except for “In the Soop 2” and his IG update before), so maybe he’ll be interested in playing it for us. We’re also looking forward to him performing his debut album in his own concert tour. I hope I can attend his solo concert someday as well as BTS’ concert. He’ll be back in 4 months from now and I know he’ll be making a comeback and a lot of performances then. I’m looking forward to that. He already has a number of great songs that he can sing: his Layover album, then “Christmas Tree,” “Wherever U R,” “FRI(END)S,” “Winter Ahead,” and “White Christmas.” It will be nice if he can sing some of his covers and also perform the songs he has teased for us but did not officially release, such as “‘Travel with Me,” “1234evermore,” “Smile, or when I see you smile, I smile,” “Sleep,” and others.
His “Inner Child” portrait was also included in Andres Valencia’s—he’s the painter—book “Painting Without Rules.” I remember when he shared with us through his IG update that he had received the painting and how it’s so meaningful, a sweet favor, especially that he and Andres are gifted people, and his inner child is always heard and loved.
In addition, congratulations to our Taehyung on having a luxurious and huge screening of his “Winter Ahead” with Park Hyoshin on Shinsegae Square and making it Korea’s representative content destination with 1M visitors and tourists flocking it and Shinsegae Department Store seeing a boost in sales 🥳🎉👏🙌 It’s also awesome that his “Slow Dancing” had been played in Cheshire Oaks designer outlet in London, where his “Love Me Again” was also played 🥳🎉👏🙌 It’s a nice way to promote his songs to non-fans.
Many of us miss Taehyung a lot these days. He doesn’t know how happy I am when I saw an update about him in a military uniform posing for a fan on Twitter a few days ago. I don’t know if he knows about the fan posting the update. It’s so sweet and adorable. I hope he’s doing well. It must be too cold in South Korea now. May he keep himself warm and may he rest well. I’m happy that I get to spend time with our Taehyung through my letters, greetings, and this website. It’s a precious time for me. It’s a calling of my inner child, too. Someday, all my good dreams will come true, glory to God!
